Let Us Adore Him

For Family Home Evening last week, the kids presented a Nativity for us. It was a truly beautiful experience, full of sweet testimony of the birth of our Savior.

Costumes were, of course, put together by Mel, with assistance from three very creative children.

Mary enters Bethlehem.

The cutest shepherd I ever saw.

Shepherds came to see the Baby Jesus.

A proud Joseph.

The wiseman brought a gift.

Singing the closing song.

It was a wonderful night.

we almost used Caramee but lindsey had a cabbage patch newborn that was even smaller. for one brief moment we thought about using joseph, but he was way too wild. and he's too cute as a shepherd anyways.

the kids did a great job. they were really excited about it and came up with awesome ideas. and they were so reverent too. such dolls!

James loved looking at these pictures with me! He even tried saying "Bradley" and "Nathaniel"--he got pretty close too!

I just asked James to say "Nathaniel" again. He pointed to his picture and said "Than-nee!" You should share that with him. So cute!
