As always, the kids were mondo excited to dress up for Halloween. The boys each wanted to be Link (from the Zelda video games), and their Aunt Mel made them hats and tunics -- from scratch, without a pattern. I thought that was pretty amazing. I couldn't sew if my life depended on it!

Playing their ocarinas.

Lindsey of course went as Cinderella, her alter ego.

We took them to the church for Trunk-or-Treat, which was great because they were contained in a parking lot and safe. Lindsey was a little scared at first, but she soon got the hang of it and came back with a bag full of candy. All ended up with the yearly sugar rush.

Holy marathon entry, Batman! You guys have been busy. Looks like you have also been having a lot of fun. Happy birthday to Lindsey. Julie, you must be getting fairly close to your due date, right? Maybe not. Other people's pregnancies either go way faster or way slower than I think they are - especially when I'm not seeing them all the time. I hope you are feeling well. Ethan's going to get a HUGE kick out of seeing the boys helping at the EMS practice. They are getting so big!
So cute, so cute.
everyone needs an Auntie Mel. Tell her I love the costumes and the cake.
They look so cute. Those costumes turned out great.
I am impressed Mel! No pattern either, good job! They all looked adorable!
Julie and Mel - (and of course Chris, Nathaniel, Bradley and Lindsey!) - I miss you guys!
I'm glad that I can keep up with your family happenings through your blog.
Great job on the costumes Mel - I've been waiting to see a picture!
Take care and give that adorable little princess and the handsome young men hugs from Adam's mom!
Julie, you are so amazing. How is each child decked out? They look great.
